Peter Gornstein has a Master of fine Art (MFA) in film directing from the American Film Institute. He graduated from CCA (California College of the Arts) with a BA in illustration.

He worked at Sony Pictures Imageworks as staff concept artist. During his 4 years at Sony Peter worked on more than 10 feature Productions, including CONTACT, STARSHIP TROOPERS, STUART LITTLE. ANACONDA, GHOST AND THE DARKNESS, DINOTOPIA, JUMANJI, VIRTUOSITY, DIE HARD 3, BAD TROUT, SNOW FALLING ON CEDARS and JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH.

As an Art director for the concept development company Magic (a subsidiary of TDC), he worked on several PC games.

As a lead concept developer for IO Interactive he worked on several AAA video games, including the HITMAN series, FREEDOM FIGHTER and KANE & LYNCH, DEAD MEN.

Peter has directed numerous commercials, music videos and short films. In 2004 He was nominated at the CANNES FILM FESTIVAL as Best Young Director in the test commercials category.

In 2007, the short film 'SUNRISE' which Peter wrote and directed, won the Fuji Film international short film award, the FotoKem award, and the Panavision award.

SUNRISE was also in official selection at the BEVERLY HILLS FILM FESTIVAL and the L.A. SHORTS FILM FEST together with Peter’s latest two commercials, TOMORROW and AUDI R8, PERFECTION.

As a partner in the company 'Saboteur Films' that was founded with Rasmus Højengaard and Ivo Horvat, the sitcom "The Entrepreneurs" is being developed - scheduled to shoot in August 2009.

As of today, Peter's latest project "The Duty" was green-lit by the Danish Film Institute (New Danish Screen) and is slated to shoot in January 2009.
